Hey. Be nice.

Happy Thursday!

Comparison is the thief of joy

We know this but we live in a world that is constantly changing and we are supposed to keep up.

How do we differentiate between keeping up with the times and comparison? We are constantly bombarded with what we are supposed to be, know, and do.

With so much information available, we can't help comparing ourselves to the ones who seem to have it all together. A good majority of advertising directed at women sends the message that we are somehow insufficient. We aren't small enough, large enough, tall enough, or perhaps too tall. We don't eat right, dress right, parent right, decorate right, and most irritating to me personally, we don't age right.

Without going on a complete rant about loving yourself for who you are and will become, I will say this:

As you go about your day today, do the day for you. Choose the clothes you feel good in, eat the food that makes you feel your best, and when you look in the mirror BE NICE! You're beautiful and whatever age you are, you're rocking it!

Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself
